Located in Boulder county, the city of Lafayette, Colorado, is 9 miles E of Boulder, Colorado(center to center) and 18 miles N of Denver, Colorado.. It has a population of 23,197 residents.

Lafayette History

Lafayette was established in the year 1888 by Mary Miller, who named the city after her husband, Lafayette Miller; the Millers were the first settlers in this region, who used the land mostly for farming purposes. Lafayette was officially incorporated into the state in 1890.

Things To Do In Lafayette

The city is home to a number of parks including the City Park and the Eldorado Canyon State Park.
